Oregon cut to the size and finish your project requires.
We stock large sections of Canadian Oregon (Douglas Fir) in a range of structural and appearance grades, with timber available rough sawn, bandsawn or dressed.
With large flitch held in stock, we can cut many non-standard sections specifically to order — including beams, posts, fascia, structural members and architectural timber.

Oregon Grades
F7 Oregon
Structural Oregon suitable for general structural and construction applications.
F8 Oregon
Free of Heart Centre structural Oregon. Our preferred material for large exposed beams, posts and many external applications.
F11 Oregon
Higher structural grade Free of Heart Centre Oregon for applications requiring increased structural capacity.
Kiln Dried No. 2 Clear
Kiln-dried appearance-grade Oregon for joinery, interiors and applications where a cleaner finish and lower moisture content are important.

Rough Sawn – Non-Appearance
For concealed structural and general construction applications where appearance is not important.
Sawn Appearance
Fresh bandsawn face and edge, giving exposed timber a clean but naturally sawn character. Particularly suited to fascia and barge boards.
Bandsawn All Round
Fresh bandsawn finish to all four faces for a consistent sawn appearance on exposed timber.
Dressed All Round
Machined on our four-sided planer to produce smooth, consistent faces and edges.
Brushed
Brushed finish to reveal the grain and add texture while maintaining a smooth, tactile surface.
Up to 9.6 metres long
Long lengths available for beams, fascia and specialised applications.
Up to 400mm wide
Wide sections available from large Oregon flitch.
Up to 200mm thick
Substantial sections for structural and architectural projects.
Cut to size
We routinely cut Oregon from large flitch to your required size.
Lengths of 8.4m and above attract a long-length surcharge. Availability varies.
Oregon for external applications
H3 treatment available.
For external above-ground applications, we can supply Oregon treated to H3 for protection against decay and insect attack. F8 Oregon is commonly selected for exposed external beams, posts, pergolas, fascia and other substantial timber applications.
